Юрист компании пришёл домой к одному из самых известных создателей читов, вручил ему судебное предписание и предложил обратиться к адвокату. В официальных социальных сетях Call of Duty рассказали, что пресекли деятельность более 375 продавцов ПО, удовлетворили более 80 требований о прекращении противоправных действий и закрыли более 30 мест, где торговали читами.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 4, посвящённая войне на Корейском полуострове, выйдет 23 октября на PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2 и PC. Ранний доступ к сюжетной кампании начнётся за неделю до этого — с 16 октября.

The fact that they are doing this while the game itself is plagued by major balance complaints and technical bugs suggests a misallocation of focus. Players are frustrated not just by cheaters, but by the core gameplay experience. If the base game feels unfair or broken due to TTK and matchmaking issues, simply removing the external cheats won’t solve the retention problem. This aggressive legal stance might silence the biggest offenders, but it risks alienating the community who feel the developers are prioritizing PR stunts over fixing the actual game.
